Concerns about e bikes

Dear resident

We have had an increase in concerns raised around the illegal use of e bikes in the St James and Waterhead areas.

You can report the illegal or antisocial use of electric bikes to Greater Manchester Police

Online: Visit the GMP Report Portal to submit details of vehicle nuisance or anti social behaviour.

Phone: Call 101 for non-emergencies.

Emergency: Call 999 immediately if a crime is actively taking place or there is an immediate risk to public safety.

Anonymous: Contact Crimestoppers online or call 0800 555 111.

When making your report, try to include as many helpful details as possible:

Date and time of the incident

Location or street name where the e-bikes were seen

Description of the bikes (such as Sur-Ron style or colour)

Description of clothing of the riders

Where the bikes are being stored, if you have that information.

Working together, we can help keep our communities safe.
